Customer Review: does not work
Could not get the printer to work with the wireless. I did read the reviews before purchasing the printer. I was able to make it work on the Ethernet cable. I called HP support and let a tech remote hook up with my computer he worked on the problem for 2 and a half hours and was not able to make it work. The tech said the wireless in the printer was not working. I would be called in a day or two. A week later I called finally got them to send me a new one. Tried to set it up and it would not work. Did an online chat with HP support for an hour and it still did not work. Boxed everything up and sent it back. I like HP products. I believe it may just be some kind of glitch with Vista and my computer however, if their support cannot figure it out I do not need their printer. I did by a brother printer and using it with no problem with the Ethernet cable.

I read several reviews of this printer on this site before I purchased this one, and I’m glad I didn’t let some of these folks scare me off.
I found it very easy to assemble without even looking at the enclosed instructions, and simple to set up and install the software and drivers. So what’s the big deal people?? If it’s over your head just admit it, don’t blame it on the product. If you finally managed your way through the install, with or without help, you should be proud and happy to have learned a new skill.
This printer prints quickly and quietly, on both sides, very similar to the HP970cse that I replaced. “BUY NOW”
