Customer Review: The worst HP I ever owned
BEWARE OF THIS PRINTER!!! This printer is the worst HP have ever built it has a lot of problems and there are not solutions and the printer is less than a year old, I had a lot of issues with the heat, when its hot the printer fail and nothing can make it print. I really destroy it because I really hate it.
Customer Review: Started out well. Proved to be JUNK with TERRIBLE service from HP
First off, I did not buy this printer from Amazon but thought someone might benefit from my experience. I purchased this printer in late April ‘08 and after moderate use, printing only photos, it has died only 3 months later giving me the “Ink system has failed…” error. It printed beautifully while it worked although if I printed on anything but HP Premium Plus paper, every print took on a very brown, muddy tone. After a lengthy live support session with HP, they finally agreed to send me a brand new replacement as I was still under the original warranty. Much to my disappointment, HP sent me a poorly packaged, refurbished printer that does not work. The replacement printer is also missing the 4×6 photo paper tray and the HP rep told me I would have to remove the 4×6 tray from my old printer and install it into my “new” printer. The “new” printer will not recognize that it has paper installed in the main paper tray. The HP rep insisted that I open up my “new” printer and clean out the interior components, which were filthy, as we had to troubleshoot this “new” printer before he could help me any further. Long story short, 3 hours of live chat assistance later, the HP rep finally admitted it was a faulty printer and they would send me another “new” one but I need to send in my first dead printer to close out the first transaction and then contact HP again to confirm they received it and then they’ll look at processing further to send me out another “new” printer and I can then return the replacement printer they just sent me. And the HP rep also admitted after going back and forth that the 4×6 photo paper tray does NOT come out and he didn’t know why the replacement printer was missing the tray because it should have been there but then suggested I take my first dead printer to an authorized service shop to have them take out the 4×6 photo tray if I wanted to which makes no sense to me at all????? So today I am sending back my first printer, when all is said and done, I will have been without a printer for almost a month. In the meantime, I’m going to do what I should have done in the first place and go out and buy an EPSON printer as I have no confidence in HP and will never purchase another HP item ever. “BUY NOW”
